Hi there,

I would like to know something from our english-speaking visitors:

Does the AAS Student Research homepage switch to english language automatically or does it keep running in standard german and you have to switch to english manually? I wrote a short script to check this out and it seemed to work but I'm not 100% sure.

So I would love to get your feedback concerning this feature.

Kind regards,

Christian
Webmaster ( www.jaas.de )

Gruß Christian

When I open the www.jaas.de  than it switch automaticly to English. By the way I'm very proud to be a member of the AAS Student Research homepage and I am always enyoing when I looking it. Bye! Geschockt

It switches to English here Sehr glücklich

the English section very much....and do hope, that we will get more discussions....worldwide....but personally I mostly start reading the German section.

This is a bit late but half of the website is in German and there is no automatic transformation into english happening here.

Automatic transformation is not really working very well, as I know. Somebody would have to check the text after each translation, and I don't know who has the time to do that.
That isn't very helpfull for the english speaking people, but I think there isn't a real chance to have an automatic translation.
Nevertheless there are some automatic tools in the world wide web, which offer a translation for free, but as I told, with complicated text these tools have some problems...

I found this webpage, which offers a translation, even for websites (but this section is currently not available). If u have a special interest in a topic and u find a threat in the german section for example by the search-option here, u can easily copy-paste the text into the translation-box on that website.

I hope that will help u a little.

Greetings
