Methinks Gaby studies international business, if my memory is correct... I think Maastricht would be an excellent location, and a University is perfect of course. You say 'rent', but how are we gonna get money together? I rather not ask people to pay for attending the whole thing... And what are we gonna do all day? Lectures? I think we'll need some, to have a formal and interesting day next to fun. |

Hey Kim & Stefan, I already wrote Ueli an email...let's wait what he thinks. I also contacted my university, got a number I can contact...we have a little bit of money left...for a smaller audience I can get a room in the university for free..but I asked for the lecture hall. Might be that they will charge something, if the topic is not business related. Let's wait and see what Ueli says... hasta prontooooo! Gaby |

Hmm...what about asking Sunny as well? After all, he's Däniken's personal aid and an employee in the MysteryPark, he might want to tell more about the park or about an expedition perhaps! |

Dear Stefan, concerning Sunny: he is NOT involved in the "mysteries research". He is NOT employed at the park either (since several months already). So, let's think about someone else. What we need are young people who KNOW something about specific mysteries or who did research in a certain Paleo-SETI field. Ueli might talk about the park in some parts...however, at the time being there are no changes and innovations so presenting the whole park should not be interesting for the ones who already visited the park. The next big innovation will be the so-called "science world" in the center of the park. Probably - according to what I heard - this part will open in 2005... Anyway, I talked to Ueli, we agreed on a date in the next year, however we will have to find a place first, so I will let you guys know in the beginning of next week. I won't get to university before then... talk to you soon, okay?! Gaby |

Yeah I know he's no longer working for the park, but he's there like every day so I figured he'd be the perfect guy to tell about it. Plus; he's cool Please do involve me in the planning etcetera! Now I'm wondering; how 'big' is this going to be? I mean, official researchers or just a JAAS meeting? Are we going to try to get official speakers, or do stuff ourselves (in which case I'd love to speak |

I think inviting Sunny is a good idea. After all he knows a lot about our subject.... And; he is a great guy! I was wondering; before we are going to ask alot of people to hold a lecture at the meeting....aren't we supposed to check if people are interested in visiting a meeting in Holland in the first place |

Yes I'm really curious now, how serious is this going to be At first I thought we'd have a small scale meeting with up to 30 people perhaps...starts sounding like something quite large! |

Well, it is important to plan way ahead of time, especially if we want Ueli to be there...I got some dates from him, 23rd of april and 1st of may...gonna check with my university next week...may 1st might not be that good because of koninginnedag, but well i can ask. Most importantly we would have some more time to advertise until april/may. I think we should try to get as many young people to the event as possible. We will be creating some flyers together with Daniel about the Next Generation, so we could use these flyers as well in order to promote the event. If you guys can do some advertising in Rotterdam etc, that would be of course awesome! And of course it would be nice if you guys would get in touch with some Duch people via email before the event! About the speakers, I think it is clear that you can prepare a speech Stefan...Ueli would be willing to hold a speech as well...for the rest, we still have some time to think about it. I first wanna get some information about the available places where we could have the meeting before we plan any further. So that we know how big the whole thing can get... I will let you know, and of course you are involved in the planning! We are a team here! I will let you know next week, okay? Gaby |

I think it is clear that you can prepare a speech Stefan... That made my day We'll sure do any advertising we can. I think we can hang posters up in our school and ads on websites (i.e. my Däniken website, but I think I can get some better sites as well) plus of course flyers. I will e-mail a whole bunch of people once we know date, place and time. Great to be working on this |
