* The rock art paintings show 'Gods' wearing helms, why wear a helm in your own atmosphere?

* Shouldn't there be some traces of all the technology, the fabrics in which it was made, the ways of transportation, pollution, buildings, homes...?
I definately think there should be more traces left of this ancient technology if it was on Earth and not taken with them as the Gods left.

* The ancient Gods in allmost all texts are said to come from the stars, sometimes even as specific as mentioning Sirius but often saying something like 'far away, in the universe' etc.

* The Indian stories have a whole lot to do with spaceflight, i.e. the countless Vimanas that were orbiting the Earth, the Gods came from far away to study humans according to the Sabhaparvan, the use of mercury to run their engines (like ion engines) and much much more.

Look at the Mahabharata, in the text it says that the God Indra comes in a big vimana to the earth and flight with Ardschuna to the stars.
In my opinion is the flight of Indra and Ardschuna reality because Ardschuna says that the stars are big body but from the earth they look small.
Why can he know this because he was in space (I know my grammar is terrible )

Yes and many things such as a lot of noise caused when Vimanas launch and land, or fire and trembling of the Earth...descriptions of the terrible weapons with striking similarities to now.

I'm convinced that the stories about Vimanas are at least based upon reality.

Other examples include the Egyptians, who believed the Gods came from Sirius.
Coïncidentally (not!) is that the Dogon tribe from central Africa had remarkable knowledge and special interest in the Sirius star system...read "The Sirius Mystery" by Robert Temple (not sure 'bout the name) or just browse the internet about Dogon etc.

Not only the indian myth or the bible speak about flying vehicles, if you read the myth of northern europe (about Thor and other Gods), you can find out that they speak about flying cars with thunder and flashlight, too.

The "Sirius mystery" of Robert Temple is a very good book and "the stargate conspiracy" too - The author Andreas von Retyi is a nice guy, very cool

There are two books with the same title in translation.
"Die Stargate-Verschwörung" (Andreas von Retyi)
"The Stargate Conspiracy" (Picknett and Prince)

Retyi's book overlaps with one chapter with the other one, but overall it is completely different. Picknet and Prince draw a straight line, although sometimes hard to follow as they repeat themselves often, through the book, to present their theory, that the whole extraterrestrial new religion since the last 100 years is an invention by the group around Puharich & Co. Later others followed happily for various reasons.

To the Sirius Mystery: On the one hand, there are the good arguments of Robert Tmple but of the other hand, there are other negativ arguments of Klaus Richter (look at his homepage) - I don´t know who is in right
