Hi ppl! This is my first post, i just signed up, im a very big fan of all things fascinating and mysterious. Im addicted to reading (and pondering on) books by: Daniken, Laurence gardner, Andrew collins, Hancock, bauval, Adrian Gilbert, Chirstopher Knight, Robert Lomas etc, etc... First of all, I wish to become a lot more involved in this genre, one of my dreams is to make some kind of discovery and publish a book on it. If anybody can help me with anything, meeting people of similar interrest, organising meetings etc. That would be great! (I live in South Africa but it would be great if i could help in any way) My question is about Sympathetic Vibratory physics, have anyone in this forum ever heard of it? Im a sound engineer by trade and this topic fascinates me. If you havent please read the book "Gods of Eden" by Adrian Gilbert. The theory behind it is that ancient cultures had a means of lifting, moving and placing huge monoliths in order to build pyramids and structures that we have no clue as to how they did it today, a kind of lost technology.. Legends and myths are full of accounts of how huge stones were lifted into the air and put in place by means of sound. I have tried everything to find more info on this subject but came up with nothing, the only stuff i could find on the net was hippie mumbo jumbo and nothing scientific. My goal is to perform experiments and to try and find the mystery behind it. At the moment im struggling to think of a way to create a wave inside such a rock. Of course you would have to take into account density, size etc.. What kind of waveform would have to be used etc..? Ive been struggling to find anybody with similar interrests, if anyone knows ANYTHING, no matter how small or insignificant the piece of info might be, please contact me or post in the forum!! |

Hy and welcome to this forum, Diogenes schrieb:First of all, I wish to become a lot more involved in this genre, one of my dreams is to make some kind of discovery and publish a book on it. writing and publishing a book seems to be hard work, I suppose, but I wish u the best for that. Hm, ok, but creating a wave which gets into a rock is not hard I think, the problem is to get an effect u want to have (making the rock fly or s.th like that). U could use sound waves to make the rock swing or ultrasound. But that won't making it fly ... Seems that I can't help u. Thomas Mc Kie |

At the moment im not interrested in making it fly, just taking it one step at a time. To create a wave inside a rock is a more difficult task than what it seems, putting a speaker next to it wont do it for example. Of course every speaker's output isnt exactly "true" to the note, some frequencies are skipped and some are enhanced, even speakers and speaker cones have resonant frequencies of their own! I need to know which sizes or rock would be most appropriate, what kind etc. A small rock would need a very high pitch because the wavelength would be smaller. If it is a bigger rock it would be difficult(for someone of my finantial standing) to measure changes in weight etc. I need to find out which waveform(sine, square, sawtooth etc.) would be appropriate in order to create a wave within the rock(or whatever object). How to do it, which harmonics to add and what kind of an effect it would have is another story altogether. |

I'm pretty sure there are good Buddhist references on this, there's a record of one of their construction projects that used musical instruments along with their thought process to move objects around. Other stuff on this angle, I believe is in "The Tao of Physics" Its not my approach, but a Coyote (asatru) shaman I know "does it" with math and physics mental constructs. Heh, heh, his path involved damn-idium, cam-idium and then clam-idium! He once "drove" a car for 160km with no gas and a broken axle and a thrown rod. Have fun! Greg |

I dont know anything about physics but I've read some articles and books about Nikola Tesla and how he used to destroy things by using vibrations which were appropriate for their respective objects. For instance, he almost destroyed his Chicago laboratory by applying a vibration to one of its main support beam. He could obviously shatter glass, rock and other material by using the right sound frequencies. He had a theory that the Earth could be destroyed by repetitively blowing up millions of pounds of dynamite at the right frequency. But his experiments don't mention levitating objects with sound frequencies, I'd be curious to see if it's even possible. |
