I just signed up and I am just saying hello or hallo
I find this subject very interesting, I first read Chariots of the Gods on my holiday last
year, I could hardly put the book down, I’m going to be buying the rest of the books when I get the chance, I am also looking forward to the TV show.
Does this message board convert German to English? Or is it linked in with the main German board and my post is converted to German?

Hallo und danka
Thanks for replying; I was starting to think I was the only one here.
I’m starting to learn German at the moment, but it will take me some time to learn, so I will not be posting in the main forum until I have a better grasp of the language.
I’m in South Yorkshire a very uninteresting part of the UK.

And a friendly HALLO back to you !
Great to read that U are learning german . Keep at it as it is a beautiful language. When I moved from the UK to Germany over ten years ago , I could neither speak, nor read the language. All these years on, and the germans don`t know the difference - though many assume I`m from north Germany, because of my accent
South Yorkshire is anything but boring ! Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham & Sheffield are fantastic places to visit. Been to all four - but that was years ago, when Parkison was helping Kes fly his kestril, and Geoff Boykott was king of the wickets ! Guess that really does age me, doesn`t it
Erich v. D has been on quite a few german talk shows lately, and what a thoroughly interesting guest he is. Alas they only give him twenty minutes or so, and cut him off just as he´s about to get into full flow I presume Erich v. D is rarely seen on british TV ? The US series should be good, and I hope it will be shown in Europe sooner rather than later.
The stuff you mentioned about the american "findings" sounds fascinating. Managed to find any more details ?
Are you working at the moment, or "resting" ? I work in a hotel. Erich v. D started the same way, and look where he ended up
Time for me to end this here. Hope to catch up with you soon. I`m very new in here too, so am also not quite sure what to do, and where to try to do it !!!!
Take care. Best wishes.
Stephen.

The world must be getting smaller each day I live in Rotherham, from my point of view the place is too industrial, and there are not too many nice places to visit. I'm hoping that some time in the future I can leave this place and maybe move abroad to Canada, New Zealand, or Switzerland.
I'm not working at the moment, but when I find a new job I’m going to be saving up for further education, I would really like to go to Sheffield University on an Archaeology course.
The Chariots of the Gods TV show looks really interesting, but I'm starting to wonder
if it’s still in production. It was going to be airing in 2003, and the web site has not
been updated in ages There’s a report on the net about the Egyptian tomb I'm not
sure if links are allowed to be posted in the Forum, but if you do a yahoo search and
enter the keywords (Egyptian tomb in Grand Canyon) you should find some thing. I think it would be a good idea if Erich V.d, started his own radio show or TV channel then people cant cut him off air

Hi there Dean ! Trust you had a great weekend. Hope the hang-over isn`t too bad
ROTHERHAM cann`t be all that bad, especially as the place was the spring-board for such entertainment GREATS as "Jive Bunny", and the world famous CHUCKLE BROTHERS to name just three ! I could mention David Seamen ... the list of british greats coming out of your home town seems endless. Must be something they put in the tap water - it must be a reet good sup, lad !
Thanks for the links to the Egyptian-Grand Canyon finds. Very interesting. However, I am always very wary of believing everything I read in such articles. I WANT to believe, just like Spooky Mulder, but need a lot of convincing !
The american TV series does indeed seem an eternity in production. I check out the homepage regularly, but it has never been updated. Perhaps they`ll bring out the series on DVD later - that would be great ! As the whole series has Erich v. D`s blessing, and input, it can only be a good one !!
"E von D - TV" would be a great idea, and I`d certainly buy the decoder !
I`m off to work now. Hope to hear from you soon.
Take care. Auf Wiedersehen.

Bah...that website sucks bigtime - really!
I am working on a very scientific new website about PaleoSETI but I do not have a host to put it on. It's is full of references etc. and does not twist the facts as unfortunately happened in the past. Still the conclusion is the same of course.
I wish I had a host, as soon as I found a good one (or perhaps put it on www.jaas.de or something - if they would let me...) I will post the link.
I have met Erich twice, and he's so incredibly nice
If you are in the park early morning then you can see all the pavillions within a day - if you run then you can view the side attractions as well but I think on a nórmal day (not from right when it opens untill closing time) you won't be able to see everything so : SKIP CHALLENGE, it sucks!
My favorite pavillion...that's a hard one.
Favorite topic : Vimanas - it's just the best evidence in my humble opinion. The pavillion isn't so great though.
Favorite Main Show : Uhm...I guess MegaStones - not very scientific imho, but great show.
Favorite Side Show : Contact - it's just very good with the Rock Art and the Columbian Airplanes, two of my favorite subjects.
Favorite combination : Orient - the pyramid Main Show is good and the Side show is good as well. Combined this is the best pavillion.
